Ten-Steps
To Becoming
A SFY Charter Yacht Owner
|
 Contact
the SFY office at 1-800-262-7939 to discuss
your personal yacht ownership plans. We
will answer any questions you may have.
- Visit
our charter facilities and meet Vic and
Barbara Hansen and the staff of Southwest
Florida Yachts. Inspect our yachts. Observe
our operations. You will have the opportunity
to question us on every aspect of our business,
firsthand.
- Contact
the marine financing source of your choice
and begin the application procedure for
financing approval (for new and pre-owned
yacht purchases). A 10% deposit in our escrow
account is required prior to beginning the
search for your special yacht.
- Select
your yacht and sign a Yacht Purchase Agreement.
A 10% deposit is required, as per terms
of the purchase agreement.
 For
existing yachts, arrange a complete inspection
of the yacht by your SFY consultant.
- Sign
the Charter Yacht Management Agreement.
For those placing existing yachts in the
fleet, if approved, the Management Fee is
required.
- Upon
receipt of the approval from your financing
source, a closing date will be established
for the purchase of your new or pre-owned
yacht.

Where delivery is required, delivery arrangements
will be made immediately upon execution
of the Management Agreement.
- Final
commissioning for charter service will be
completed prior to the yacht's first charter.
